The elegant and tranquil guest house welcomed us with open arms, offering a serene outdoor swimming pool – a perfect respite after a day of exploring the nearby Crussol's Castle. The non-smoking room was a cozy haven, complete with a flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, and a safety deposit box, ensuring a comfortable stay.Breakfast, a highlight of our mornings, was a true culinary delight served in the charming pool house. An array of homemade jams, fresh yogurts, and an assortment of breads made for a delightful start to the day. The personal touch extended to the room, with a well-equipped private bathroom featuring an Italian shower and luxurious free toiletries.The property's attention to detail didn't go unnoticed – from the soft color palette that created a relaxing ambiance to the opportunity to cook dinner by the poolside, everything was thoughtfully designed. The on-site free private parking and the availability of bicycles for exploring the surrounding beautiful villages were convenient perks that added to our overall experience.As a history enthusiast, I found Villa Escandia to be a perfect base for exploring the historic treasures of the region, with the added bonus of a private swimming pool to unwind in after a day of sightseeing.
